Now, as a doctoral supervisor rand professor in polymer science and biomedical engineering is focusing on the research of the biomaterials, polymers, and polymer composite functional materials. The present research programs include 1, self-setting Organic inorganic composite cements used as bone graft. 2, High functionalized special engineering plastic polyphenylene sulfide and its composites with boron group in main molecule chain and research on the mechanism of the absorption to the multiple high energy rays. 3, Poly(amino acids) and their composites for bone regeneration and construction. The complete project included the National Sci-Tech Support Plan(Grant NO. 2007BAE13B00) and the international S&T cooperation Program (Grant NO. 2013DFB50280), and scored great successes. The bioactive nano hydroxyl apatite polyamide composite biomedical products have been widely used in 1600 hospitals around 26 provinces in china, and the PPS has reached industrialization scale in china. And there were 60 publications and 20 patents in the recent years, and is the first batch of national science and technology innovation talents leaders of china(Ten thousand plan- National high level talents special support plan), State Class Persons of New Century National Talents Project, Program for New Century Excellent Talents of The Ministry of Education, 100 Talents Programme of Sichuan Province, and the academic and technical leader of Sichuan province.
