On March 26, 2024, Professor Katsumi Tanigaki from Beijing Quantum Institute was invited to visit the College of Physics,Sichuan University. He made a wonderful academic report on the topic of "Perspective properties and applications emergent from quantum materials" for the teachers and students of the College of Physics, and explained the many questions raised by the students in detail.

The lecture was presided over by Professor Hong Zhang, Dean of the College of Physics, Sichuan University. Professor Jun Tang from the Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, Professor FILIPPO BIO from the College, Dr. Zhengyang Li from the College, and more than 70 graduate students and undergraduates participated in the academic report.

During the visiting time, Professor Zhang Hong also had a detailed exchange and discussion with Professor Katsumi Tanigaki on the possible cooperation between the two sides in the field of student training in the future.
